Jody C. Martin joins NRC as new director

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission announced the selection of Jody C. Martin as Director of the Office of Commission Appellate Adjudication. He most recently served in the position of Acting Assistant General Counsel and Deputy Assistant General Counsel for New Reactor Programs in the Office of the General Counsel.

Martin joined the NRC in 2006. He began his agency career as an attorney in the OGC Honor Law Graduate Program. He also served as a legal assistant to Commissioner Jeff Baran from 2014 to 2017. He is a member of the current Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program class.

Martin is a graduate of the University of Delaware and the George Washington University School of Law.
