11 August 2017

Daya Bay Nuclear Power Operations and Management Co., Ltd. (DNMC) has signed a multiyear agreement (MYA) with GE’s Power Services business to provide services to the steam turbines, generators and auxiliary systems at its Daya Bay, Ling Ao and Ling Dong nuclear power plants. Targeting long-term stability and profitability, GE’s MYA will help generate reliable, sustainable electricity to power the Guangdong Province, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Over the past 30 years, DNMC and GE have collaborated on the Daya Bay nuclear power base, which was originally built with Alstom.

GE's MYA solution will give the DNMC the operational stability it needs to operate and maintain the plants in the most economic and efficient way possible. Under the 12-year agreement, GE will provide services including the supply of spare parts, engineering support, on-site service, repair and life extension for the steam turbines at the Daya Bay nuclear power base.
